<body> <h1><b><font size="5">40K Tournament Rankings</font></b></h1> <p><i>How and why the Australasian Tournament Rankings are calculated</i></p> <p>Warhammer tournaments are regularly held to allow players to come together to enjoy their hobby.  Tournaments in Australia are normally judged not just on if you win and by how much, but also on other criteria such as how well your army is painted, your degree of sportsmanship and the composition of your army.</p> <p>For some, part of the fun is either comparing your skills against other players, or having bragging rights.  Others may just like to see their name on a list of the best players across Australia and New Zealand.  The Australasian Tournament Rankings (ATR) provide this, showing how successful players have been.</p> <p>The key thing to remember about these rankings is that this is a seeding system and is not a measure of capability.
